NOODLING is fiscally sponsored by FROM THE HEART PRODUCTIONS, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to funding and supporting films that are “unique and make a contribution to society.” That means all donations to our film are tax deductible.

All contributors to our film receive a credit in the film, a copy of the film and an invitation to the final screening!

What happens to your donation?

Our crew is based almost entirely on the volunteer efforts of student and professional filmmakers. But there are still enormous costs associated with making our dream project a reality. Here are just a few specific ways in which your generous contribution will help us:

$50 Donation:

  • Feeds an actor for 7 days
  • or Covers production design for one location
  • or Covers gas for 1 equipment truck for one day of shooting on-location

$100 Donation:

  • Covers the cost of 1 on-set stunt coordinator for noodling scenes for 1 day
  • or Rents 1 hi-roller (light stand)
  • or Pays for the camera’s tripod rental.

$200 Donation:

  • Covers the construction of a model catfish

  • or Covers makeup supplies expense
  • or Pays for drinking water for the crew in the hot Oklahoma sun

$500 Donation:

  • Buys plexiglass to protect the camera and crew while shooting underwater noodling scenes

  • or Rents the camera dolly and track
  • or Covers the cost of the Grip/Electric Truck

$1000 Donation:

  • Pays for 1 crew member’s lodging and transportation in Oklahoma for a week
  • or Feeds an entire camera crew for a week

  • or Covers mandatory student production insurance

$5000 Donation:

  • Pays for an entire camera package
  • or Rents the entire lighting package for a full week
  • or Covers the costs of post-production editing
