Rebecca Eskreis — Writer/Director

Rebecca EskreisRebecca Eskreis (Writer/Director) is in her sixth semester at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. Rebecca has written, directed and produced more than a dozen film and video projects. Her most recent credits include Into the Unknown (Producer), a selection at the Palm Springs Film Festival and currently showing in the Tribeca Film Institute’s traveling exhibition American Here + Now; the short documentary An Oasis in Time (Writer/Director), winner of the Long Beach Jewish Film Festival and Meanwhile… (Producer), winner of the 2009 Coca Cola Refreshing Filmmaker Contest.

A New Yorker born and raised, Rebecca graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barnard College, Columbia University with a degree in Art History and minors in Visual Arts (painting) and English. Prior to USC, Rebecca was the writer and producer of the ground-breaking Forbes.com Video Network, the online streaming video news network of Forbes magazine. She is also a painter whose work has been exhibited at the Art Students League and the School of Visual Arts.
