How exciting is this?
Noodling (the film) and noodling (the sport) are mentioned in this month’s issue of Gastronomica:

Why do you think internships for film students are important?
I think internships in general are important because they might enhance a) one’s literacy and instinct in their future career field, and b) establish a physical relationship with potentially valuable contacts.
What are some projects you are currently working on?
What am I working on currently… Oh boy. Well, this Spring 2011 semester I’m taking 21 of my remaining 30 credit hours to complete my Film & Video Studies degree at the University of Oklahoma. I’ve been executive producer on the fourth feature film from Mark Potts and Singletree Productions entitled “A Splice of Life” since June 2010, and that’s slated to shoot during the month of February and one week in March. Then, I leave a few days before final exams to intern with the American Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival 2011! My token leisure time is a trip to the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in mid-April…and everyone on the Los Angeles side of Noodling should definitely attend!
Oklahoma film students: You have the fortune of residing in a famously hospitable area of the US. In other words, favors and pleasant attitude will grant you many more resources to complete your cinematic visions than you might otherwise have. Shepherd your idea to fruition with the attention it deserves, and people will gladly help you see it through.
